2025-2026 Budget

Like the Home Page of this website, the focus of this page is to provide my ex-constituents with as much information as possible to facilitate their monitoring/participation in the review of the Fiscal 2026 City Budget. Like a newspaper, I plan to post any opinions I might have on the budget on a different webpage, my “Editorial” webpage, “Observations”.

At the 4/21/2025 Council Meeting the budget meeting schedule was  approved. The meetings are to be held in Council Chambers, and are to be streamed.

For your convenience, in the text below I have inserted links directly to relevant budget material on the City website. However, if these links fail, you can always hunt for the material on the City Budget Page of the City website. Last year I wrote a tutorial on “Understanding The College Park City Budget”. Although it contains references to last year’s budget, some of the text is still relevant in understanding the budget. I will update it when and if this year’s budget process becomes stable and contains more detail. The initial few pages is further below on this webpage.
